Huf Automotive Systems (Chongqing) has recently settled down in Longxing Industrial Park.

With an investment of 157 million yuan ($ 25.3 million), Huf covers an area of 2.67 hectares and plans to hire 300 employees. With advanced German manufacturing technology, it will be brought into operation in 2016 and have an annual production capacity of two million lock sets and 1.5 million door handles.

Huf will continue its successful engagement with the Chinese automotive industry, especially in central and western China.

Its investor is Huf Group in Germany, which is an enterprise with more than 100 years of history, producing automotive locks and handles, and mechatronic car-access systems. Huf supplies Ford, Volkswagen (inc. Audi and Porsche), Hyundai, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and other famous car makers worldwide. There are 16 subsidiaries in five continents, more than 7,000 employees and annual sales of 10 billion yuan. Now it is investing in a factory in Liangjiang, Chongqing. Sustainable development and the huge market potential of the Chinese automotive industry have been boosting Huf Group's development.

In the past 20 years, Huf has built three companies in Yantai, Shanghai and Changchun, a tool factory and an electronics R&D center with more than 2,200 employees and achieved annual sales of two billion yuan. Liangjiang New Area as a National New Development Zone has attracted Huf Group with its excellent investment environment, standardized management processes, and high work efficiency.
