The Liangjiang New Area, located in the municipality of Chingqing, will be taking its service industry up a gear, as it hopes to speed up development in 2015.
The area's northern section is included as a major area for the plan. The government will put great effort into attracting companies to settle in the area, including the financial institutions, commercial enterprises and service companies.
According to reports, 22 projects in the Jiangbeizui central business district were completed in 2014; and as many as 180 companies settled in the area, including 40 financial institutions such as Postal Saving Bank of China and Woori Bank.
"The service industry will be the spotlight of Liangjiang," said an official of the Liangjiang New Area Working Committee.
