Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area will start the construction of four new waste transfer stations and a garbage collection system in 2015, according to the Liangjiang administrative committee.
The new waste transfer stations will be located in the Yufu, Longxing, Shuitu and Yuelai districts. The waste transfer stations in Yufu, Longxing and Shuitu will have a daily processing capacity of 400 tons, while the daily processing capacity of the Yuelai waste transfer station will reach 300 tons.
In addition, Liangjiang finished the installation of 4,021 lighting facilities which provide convenience to the local residents. Three procedures were implemented during the construction of the facilities, including of design approval, site supervision and completion inspection.
