The 18th China Chongqing International Investment and Global Sourcing Fair (CCISF) will open at the Chongqing Expo Center in the Liangjiang New Area from May 28-31.
According to a news conference held by the Chongqing municipal government, this year's CCISF will present several highlights.
More than 1,700 international enterprises from 47 countries - including the US and Japan - will attend the fair. Countries on the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road will pay close attention to Chongqing’s development and seek cooperation with the municipality during the conference. Enterprises from countries on the economic belt, such as Russia and Poland, will also attend the fair.
In addition, 46 imported cars will be on sale at the CCISF at a discounted price of between 80-90 percent of their retail price. The Audi Q7, for example, sells for around 700,000 yuan ($112,980) in the auto 4S shop, while the price of the car during the fair will be around 610,000 yuan. The 46 imported cars on sale will come from different brands, including BMW, Mercedes-Benze and Porsche.
