As Liangjiang's infrastructure construction has developed, the area has ramped up its investment into transportation and Internet connection construction, according to the Liangjiang administrative committee.
Statistics show that in the first half of this year, Liangjiang's investments in fixed assets have increased 18 percent, amounting to 83.90 billion yuan ($13.52 billion).
After five years of construction, Liangjiang's infrastructure has begun to take shape. To meet the needs of China's development strategy on the Yangtze River Economic Belt, Liangjiang has planned a batch of key projects to ensure investment.
Among the infrastructure construction projects being built is Jiangbei International Airport project, which is expected to enhance transportation in the area.
In terms of public infrastructure construction, sewage treatment plants and refuse transfer projects have begun construction in the area. Additionally, public welfare programs, such as a social welfare center has also started construction.
