In the last five years, Liangjiang's Shuitu Industrial Park has provided career training services to 6,698 relocated farmers, according to the Liangjiang administrative committee.
Statistics show that 4,465 relocated farmers have found jobs with the help of Shuitu Industrial Park, while 458 started their own business ventures.
Since its establishment, Shuitu Industrial Park has made a concerted effort to help relocated farmers find jobs. A job training base has been constructed and a specific training schedule has been formulated to help relocated farmers with different educational backgrounds. Training provided by the base has covered areas such as housekeeping, gardening and massage.
