HI-LEX Group, China's biggest car cable manufacturing company, has launched a new production factory in Liangjiang's Yufu Industrial Park, according to the Liangjiang administrative committee.
Statistics show that the new factory will occupy a total area of 3.47 hectares and the first stage of the project will cover 12,000 square meters. The annual output value of the new factory is expected to exceed 67 million yuan ($10.48 million).
In recent years, Liangjiang has been working on strengthening three industrial clusters of the automobile, electronic and equipment manufacturing industries.
In June, Beijing Hyundai Motor Co. began constructing a new plant in Liangjiang, thanks to a 13 million yuan investment fund. As a pilot industry in the new area, the automobile industry has experienced growth in recent years and the production of auto accessories has developed rapidly.
