Liangjiang will take steps to enhance law enforcement in the area, as part of its aim to foster a better investment environment, according to the Liangjiang administrative committee.
Liangjiang's three industrial districts, Shuitu Industrial District, Longxing Industrial District and Yufu Industrial District, will focus on cracking down on illegal construction work, environmental pollution and traffic offences.
Shuitu Industrial District has so far removed 4,000 square meters of illegal construction. More than 60 companies and construction organizations in the district have implemented standard waste storage and transportation procedures.
The implementation of comprehensive law enforcement activities are expected to improve the overall environment of Liangjiang's industrial districts and attract investment. As China's first inland state-level new area, Liangjiang has been working on strengthening law enforcement since its establishment five years ago.
