Liangiang New area established a volunteer group of over 1000 people on Oct 10, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

The group is comprised of professionals who work in Liangjiang New Area and will host regular activities in industrial development, social services, and people's livelihood.

Based on each person's expertise, the group will offer consultation services in psychology, medical care and law for those suffering from illness or accidents. They will also focus on environmental protection and offer assistance to the needy such as the elderly, disabled and stay-at-home children.
