A new bus route began operating in Liangjiang's Xinglong Industrial District on Nov 18, according to the Liangjiang administration committee.

Route No 986 connects landmarks in Liangjiang, such as the Liangjiang International Film Studio and Hyundai's Chongqing factory. The route was added to provide greater convenience to local citizens.

The 986 bus will depart from Jihua Garden. It is the second bus line to run through the Longxing Industrial District. The bus also stops at Fenbi, Tianbao Zhai and Shuangxi. It will operate between the hours of 6:00 am to 7:00 pm at a frequency of around 20 minutes.

According to an official from Longxing Industrial District, Liangjiang International Film Studio and Longxing Ancient Town are hot tourism destinations in the new area. Thanks to the new bus route, people now have more choice when they wish to travel.
