The number of export tax rebates and exemptions for companies in Liangjiang hasrisen substantially, according to statistics released by the Liangjiang taxation bureau.
Liangjiang based enterprises received export tax rebatesand exemptions worth 172.01 million yuan ($26.89 million) from January to October this year, quadruple around for the same period in 2014. The total amount of export tax rebates and exemptions is expected to exceed 200 million yuan by 2016.
According to an official from Liangjiang New Area, enterprises with import-export operation rights and carry out the related businesses can receive a tax refund of approximately 17 percent.
To help local enterprises apply for the export tax rebates and exemptions, Liangjiang taxation bureau regularly organizes online guidance activities. The bureau has strengthened its management of administrative procedures and has clarified job responsibilities. A feedback mechanism has also been constructed to better serve local enterprises.
