A Liangjiang New Area Ecology Photo Contest recently concluded, with 46 winning photos, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

Over 800 photographers signed up for the contest to show the beauty of Liangjiang New Area. The photos show the achievements Liangjiang has made in improving its ecological environment.

A panel of judges awarded 1 first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes and 40 prizes for excellence. The first prize winner will receive 3000 yuan, the second 2000, and the third 1000.

Yuzui Industrial Park under Construction by Lin Lijiang, won the top prize. Chongqing International Exhibition Center by Xu Linzhi and Chongqing Helicopter Investment Company by Dai Xiaoxia won the second prizes, and Liangjiang Happy Square by Chen Yong, Yufu New Area by Ping Fan and Dazzling Emeralds by Li Yi, won the third prizes.

As the first national development zone in inland China, the Liangjiang New Area strives to explore a development path featured low-carbon emission.

The new area is not only a development zone, but also is positioning itself to be an ecological new area that enjoys harmonious coexistence of people and nature.

The photo contest showcased the beauty of Liangjiang New Area. The Area will host more activities to enhance people’s environmental protection awareness and stimulate their passion to protect the environment in Liangjiang.
