Chongqing manufactured over three million vehicles in 2015, accounting for 1/8 of the total automobile output in China, Chongqing Times reported.

In 2015, Chongqing got 88 China famous brands, bringing its total to 128, and 671 Chongqing famous brands, for a new total of 1,306.

Chongqing has 198 companies that are listed among the top 500 companies, 63 more than in 2014. Industrial output of foreign businesses and businesses of Hongkong, Macau and Taiwan accounted for 25 percent of Chongqing’s total industrial output.
