Chongqing Huashu Robotics Co Ltd is one of two Chinese companies that are developing, manufacturing, and selling robot control systems, key parts, and complete robot appliances.

The mass production of servo system drivers means Chongqing Huashu Robotics Co Ltd is nearer to its overall goal of industrialization of robot parts.

The company used to have to purchase core parts, which are expensive, but with its servo system breakthrough, it and China can be more competitive in the smart equipment manufacturing sector.

Huashu is the leader in China in servo system manufacturing. The company’s annual production in 2015 increased by 30 percent compared to 2014. The import substitution rate is over 80 percent.

The company has also established a robot servo drive lab, the most professional research center for robot servo drive systems.

"Back in 2013, when Huashu just settled in Liangjiang New Area, the company had only three engineers including myself. We took care of the design, verification, and testing of sample robots," said Zhang Kaixuan, a 30-year-old engineer at the company,

Huashu (Chongqing) Robots Company has successfully developed key technology in control, drive, design, application, automation, and engineering. With a monthly production of 100 units, the company has become a leader in robots manufacturing in middle and west China. Its robots were a highlight of the 16th China International High-tech Fair.

The R&D department of Chongqing Huashu Robots is composed of 12 young technicians, who were all born in the 1980s. It hopes to inspire and offer more opportunities to young people.

A high-tech company that focuses on the research, automotive manufacturing, sales and service of robots, Huashu has enjoyed sound development. Its robots are in use in companies such as Haier Group and Gree Electric Appliances.

Huashu’s annual sales are expected to reach 150 million yuan ($22.8 million), with the domestic substitution rate being more than 90 percent.

Huashu is one of only two domestic companies that are able to develop, manufacture and sell robots control system, servo drive, servo motor, and the robot main body. The Huashu servo drive has reached a mass manufacturing phase, excelling among domestic companies.

Huashu has invested over two million yuan in writing textbooks on industrial robots, the first domestic company to do so.

Huashu has also established partnership with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunication, and Xuchang Vocational School.
