Jinashan Parking Building began trial operations on Jan 18, the Chongqing Daily reported.

Occupying an area of 17,000 square meters, the building has three floors above ground and four below. The first phase has 1,300 slots and will greatly solve the parking problems of nearby shopping malls including Outlets, IKEA and Metro.

During the trial operation period, the parking lot will use manual toll collection. The parking lot will be officially opened during the Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 8 this year.

By then, the building will be enabled with a smart toll collection system such as ETC (Electronic Toll Collection).
