Chongqing Subway Line 4 is expected to begin operation in 2017, Chongqing Daily reported.

The line will have a total length of 46.06 kilometers, starting at Min’an Road and ending at Shichuan Village at Yubei District, with 20 stops in between.

The first phase of the project has a total length of 15.657 kilometers, with nine stops, and is under fast-paced construction.
