Liangjiang New Area No 1 Hospital is expected to complete construction and be put into operation in July,liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

The hospital has an area of around 60,000 square meters, with the outpatient building occupying 44,000 square meters. The outpatient building has 20 floors with 17 above ground.

The hospital will also accelerate information availability such as making appointments via an APP to provide convenient, efficient and quality medical services to people living in the Liangjiang New Area.

In addition to this hospital, several other hospitals such as Chongqing Runzhikang Hospital and Liangjiang Hospital will also begin operation this year, which means people will be able to get medical services within walking distance.
