Liangjiang will accelerate construction of “One Belt and Three Parks” this year, Chongqing Evening News reported on March 11.
Located in the Lijia Business Zone, the Baiyun Mountain Park had a total investment of 200 million yuan ($31million). The planning area for this park is 1,192 acres (11.92 square kilometers).
The Belt refers to the Jialing River Landscape Belt at the Golden Gulf Park. Three Parks refers to Baiyun Mountain Park, Internet Theme Park and Jinzhou Park.
Golden Gulf Park is an important project in Liangjiang and is expected to be a model of riverside ecological Landscape construction.
Baiyun Mountain Park will finish construction by the end of the year and is expected to be fully completed next year. The Internet Theme Park will finish construction by the end of this year. Jinzhou Park will enter a substantial construction period by the end of this year.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
