Kangzhuang Meidi Primary School won top prize at the Fourth National Secondary and Primary Students Dragon and Lion Dances Championship on May 2, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

This year’s competition, with a theme of “Fulfill the Chinese Dream via Dragon Dance”, was sponsored by the National Middle School Sports Association.
A total of 365 competitors from 20 delegations from provinces such as Guangdong, Hunan, and Sichuan took part in the competition.
The Kangdi Meizhuang Delegation composed of 11 students won first place among the primary schools with a score of 8.53 points. Their dedicated and lively performance made them stand out from their counterparts.
Dragon and lion dancing has become a unique culture symbol for Kangzhuang Meidi Primary School. Since being introduced two years ago, the activity has been very popular.
It encourages both students and teaching staff to do their personal best in all their chosen endeavors.
