A new energy vehicle project including the construction of electric vehicles and charging facilities will soon come to Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area.

Qingdao Teld New Energy Co and Chongqing New Energy Vehicle Development Ltd signed a cooperation contract for joint investment in Liangjiang's upcoming new energy vehicle project on May 31. Tang Zongwei, deputy director of Liangjiang New Area attended the signing ceremony.

According to a senior from Liangjiang, the project will play a significant role in upgrading the area's new energy vehicle industry chain.

The project construction plan includes the construction of various businesses, including a smart charging facility, charging service and new energy vehicle promotion. Additionally, 110,000 charging points will be built to serve 100,000 new energy vehicles.

"The new energy vehicle project in Liangjiang will help to promote Chongqing's new energy vehicle industry," said Tang. Tang also expressed that he hopes that more new energy enterprises can enter Liangjiang to promote the area's new energy vehicle industry.
