Liangjiang's Jiangbeizui district plans to construct more large-scale schools in the coming years, according to Chongqing Evening Newspaper.

Construction work on three schools, namely, Jiangbeizui Experimental School, Gailan Xi High School and Bachuan High School, has begun, according to Jiangbeizui education official Wu Hongmei.

According to the construction plan, Jiangbeizui Experimental School will be put into operation in 2017, while Gailan Xi High School will come into use in 2019 and Bachuan High School will start enrollment in 2018.

Jiangbeizui is often compared to the Lujiazui Financial Center in Shanghai. It occupies an area of approximately five square kilometers and has entered a new development phase in the last 10 years. Major projects such as the Chongqing Grand Theatre and Central Park have been built there.
