The first United Nations agency that focuses on the Belt and Road Initiative, the United Nations Maritime-Continental Silk Road Cities Alliances, settled in Chongqing, the Chongqing Evening reported.

Within the UNMCSR-SNC, SNC represents a subordinate agency of UNMCSR and is a non-profit international agency aiming to promote deep and comprehensive cooperation among governments, civil societies and enterprises.

The Vienna-Chongqing Twin Cities Cultural Festival will also bring-in cultural resources across the world. Activities such as exchanges between established enterprises from Austria and local companies in Chongqing will be held during the festival, and the first Vienna Music and Performing Art Masters Class will host its regional competition of China in Chongqing, as well.
