The Shuitu Industrial Area, located in the Liangjiang New Area, raised the curtain on its first football and basketball league on June 21 with 27 teams competing for the championship.

The Communist Youth League Committee of China of the Shuitu Industrial Area hosted the competition to strengthen corporate friendships in the Liangjiang New Area and promote the zone's image.

Over 400 players from 27 companies and institutions including the Shuitu Town government, the BOE Technology Group Co and the Beibei CMCC took part in the activity.

The competition gives prizes for first, second and third place teams, and separate prizes for most valuable players.
