The 2016 China (Chongqing) Commodity Exhibition and Trading Fair will take place at the Yuelai International Expo Center in Chongqing municipality from Oct 13-16.

The fair will have the theme of “feast for citizens and festival of city”, covering a total demonstration area of more than 130,000 square meters. The exhibition aims to create a brand-new commercial experience for consumers to enjoy shopping and entertainment.

Eight exhibitions are to be set up, including a cross-border e-commerce hall, a hall selling travel equipment and a Chongqing-themed pavilion. A hall showcasing items from South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan will present the most exciting experience for visitors. Also on show will be a pavilion featuring new cultural and creative commerce ideas, and it is expected to draw many artsy types, who can enjoy the coffee, desserts, book stores and floriculture.

Visitors can also enjoy a wide variety of activities highlighting different subjects during the trade fair. There will be a Chongqing International Coffee Plus Festival, the Chongqing Food Festival and some road shows on innovative commercial and industrial products running for the duration of the exhibition.

This is the fourth-time Chongqing will be hosting the China Commodity Exhibition and Trading Fair, and it has witnessed its success at promoting local trade and cultural exchange during the past events.
