Companies from Chongqing’s convention and exhibition industry gathered at the Chongqing International Expo Center from Dec 14 to 16 to seek business opportunities with industrial industries.
The event was organized by China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF), a government-supported national social and economic organization that oversees industry. Major members of CMIF include specialist associations, regional associations, intermediary units, and some large enterprise groups.
Under the invitation of CMIF, the event was attended by more than 50 national associations, including China Foundry Association and China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association. Industry leaders met with more than ten convention and exhibition companies to discuss working together on future events.
Companies such as CMEC International Exhibition and China National Automotive Industry International Corporation joined in with discussions to seize more potential business opportunities in the convention industry.
The deepened communications between different industry associations and the convention industry will help conventions and exhibitions integrate into Chongqing’s competitive industries and boost the local convention and exhibition industry.
Well-known domestic experts and leaders from different fields, such as Li Dongping, secretary general of China Plastics Machinery Industry Association, and Wu Youhua, president of China Instrument and Control Society, will discuss hot issues and the latest trends in the convention industry.
