A new data center at the Chongqing branch of Baosight Software Corporation went online operation on Dec 26, according to the Liangjiang government website.
The data center is located at the Liangjiang New Area’s Shuitu High-tech Industrial Park and will provide personalized cloud computing services and big data to help industrial companies transition to the Internet economy.
The platform integrates advanced software and hardware products from home and abroad, and adheres to international cloud computing standards. For example, the center has high-end refrigeration technology and a quakeproof and fireproof security system.

Baosight is the IT software arm of Baosteel Group, the parent company of China’s largest and most advanced integrated steel manufacturer. It opened its Southwest China headquarter in Liangjiang New Area this July.
In recent years, Pacific Telecommunication, China Unicom, China Telecom, China Mobile and other enterprises settled their cloud computing infrastructural projects at the Liangjiang Cloud Computing Center. Liangjiang will take advantage of existing data center infrastructure to establish an industrial chain.
