The Longxing Ancient Town, located in the southeast of Yubei District, Chongqing Municipality, is about 36 kilometers away from the city center. It is one of the 100 wealthiest town areas in Chongqing and is known for its historical and cultural heritage as well as its landscape and fresh air.
In recent years, the development and reconstruction of the Longxing Ancient Town has become a major part of Liangjiang New Area’s efforts to protect and explore local culture industry resources.

Original buildings and culture were well-preserved during the town’s renovation. Now both modernity and tradition is reflected in the ancient town, with traditional homes, ancestral halls, and temples providing visitors the opportunity to enjoy Chinese culture and history.

The town has been prosperous since ancient times. The town boasts many restaurants, hotels, markets, and convenient public transport access, and also a public square, modern office buildings, and commercial pedestrian streets, as well as the Longhu Water Park and ecological garden.
