Lanterns lit up the Jihua Garden in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing Municipality on Jan 15 signaling that Spring Festival is just around the corner.
Covering a huge 100,000 square meters, 90 lantern displays will brighten up the garden, the largest display covering 14,400 cubic meters. The lantern show will stay illuminated until March 25.
Visitors will enjoy the festive lights shaped and colored as peacocks, flowers, windmills, sunglasses, and even pandas.
Other activities during the event will include a Russian circus performance and the National Defense and Military Model Exhibition.
