The Shuitu part of Shuitu Jialing River Bridge in Beipei district of Chongqing started pile foundation construction during the dry season of the Jialing River on Feb 20.
Construction of the Shuitu Jialing River Bridge will finish in 2018. The bridge is a cable-stayed one with two towers. It’s main span is up to 388 meters.
Upon completion the bridge will become an important part of the city’s express way road net and it is expected to drive the economic and social development of the Liangjiang New Area.
