The Liangjiang New Area women's association launched an event in Zhaomushan Technology and Innovation Park on May 20 in honor of the approaching International Children's Day on June 1.
About 100 staff members from the zone participated in the event to help 27 children from local poor families realize their wishes, including new schoolbags, new running shoes, books and bicycles.

"Their wishes are quite easy to realize, and as long as we give them a little help they can feel warm, which will help them live a happy childhood," said Luo Liqi, president of the Chongqing Entrepreneur Culture Development Co Ltd.

Kuang Ying, president of the Liangjiang New Area Women Association, said that the association will continue to help these children and call for more social awareness and support to give them a better living environment and ensure their health growth.
The event also arranged for the children to visit a local animation production base to watch cartoons and learn how cartoon are made.
