The Chongqing Safety Cloud platform went online at Liangjiang International Cloud Computing Industrial Park on July 3, ready to provide security for government and company websites.

Jointly built by China Telecom (Chongqing) and CQNEWS Group, the Chongqing Safety Cloud is a comprehensive cloud service platform applying the latest in cloud safety and big data processing technology.

Running on a total of 200,000 servers, the safety cloud can provide services for over 2,000 large and medium-sized enterprises simultaneously.

Chongqing Safety Cloud can safeguard companies through cybersecurity, business and data services. The platform also includes safety operations, assessments and classified information protection fuctions.

Li Xiulin, vice general manager of China Telecom’s Chongqing branch, said that the Chongqing Safety Cloud can assure customer data and information safety over various levels ranging from networks to operations. It will boost information-based construction in Chongqing.

"The win-win co-operation between China Telecom (Chongqing) and CQNEWS Group will enliven the development of the cloud computer and big data industries in the Liangjiang New Area and Chongqing," said Wang Jumeng, vice director of the Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee.
