The Liangjiang Robots Exhibition Center makes a name for itself as the top gathering site for the leading robots of the world. Local media reported on Oct 31 that it was recently operational at the Shuitu High-tech Industrial Park of Liangjiang New Area.

The two-floor center with a 5,000 square meter exhibition area is divided into two sections–industrial robots and service robots.

The industrial robots exhibition area gathers dozens of renowned domestic and overseas robots giants, including KUKA, Kawasaki, FANUC and ABB, to draw visitors' attention to a new world of robots as opposed to the typical walking and talking robots one would see in a movie.

Service robots utilized in the fields of entertainment, education, health care and endowment go on stage to present how artificial intelligence changes human beings lives. Robots that can dance, sing, teach children and care for the old will be highlights in the floor.

Chongqing Liangjiang Robot Leasing Limited, operator of the robot exhibition center, said that the Shuitu High-tech Industrial Park is one of the most centralized areas of domestic robots industry.

Except exhibitions of latest robots, the center will also provide services for robots companies with brand promotion, experience and interaction, science popularization education and product sales.

The company has invested a total of 900,000 yuan ($133,000) to purchase performance, educational and hotel service robots, and will add further investments in the future.

The Shuitu High-tech Industrial Park exhibition platform was established to boost the development and cluster of high-end robot companies. As a result of this ambition, China has become the biggest robot buyer in the world. Moreover, other enterprises in Chongqing are bringing in robot equipment due to the increase of labor costs, attracting robotics companies to settle down in the Liangjiang New Area. The robot industry will be the focus for many economic strategists in the coming years.

Just as Silicon Valley in California, USA is the leading hub of high-tech innovation and development, this 'Robot Kingdom' is true to its name as the top ruler of the robot industry.
