The Shen'an Hospital, an international hospital jointly built by Raffles Medical Group and Chongqing Yu Gao-Tech Industry (Group) Co Ltd, is projected to be put into use in Chongqing at the end of 2018.
Located at the Lianggjiang New Area of the city, the hospital will cover a total construction area of approximately 107,000 square meters. As a part of Sino-Singapore Strategic Connectivity Demonstrative Initiatives, this hospital is the first one owned by a foreign company in Chongqing.

With a total investment of approximately 800 million yuan ($120.6 million), the hospital will adopt the operation mode combined with a comprehensive hospital and special departments with 1,000 beds. It will upgrade the quality and internationalization of medical resources in Liangjiang New Area.
Raffles' traditional special departments including tumor, maternity, pediatrics, reproductive, and dental will be opened in the hospital, as well as comprehensive departments of a emergency system, internal medicine system, surgical system, and Chinese medicine system.

As a comprehensive international hospital with the integration of outpatient and inpatient, Shen'an Hospital will provide medical aid to foreigners in Southwest China and Central Asia while safeguarding the health of local residents and foreigners living in Chongqing.
