The exhibition brings together 27 precious photos for display. "This exhibition will attract numerous shutterbugs in Chongqing," said organizer Tao Xibao.
The exhibition will last two months and is free to the public. Visitors can see photos by the two masters in different periods of their careers. In the exhibition hall there will be a place selling art-related gifts.
Nobuyoshi Araki and Hiroshi Sugimoto are both internationally renowned photographers with millions of fans. The subjects of Nobuyoshi Araki's photos include his beloved wife, his beloved cat, daily life in Tokyo and the ever-changing clouds. And Hiroshi Sugimoto has multiple labels including philosopher, modern artist, architect, antique collector and modernist.
"Hiroshi Sugimoto has sought to explore and present the theme of time and history all his life," said Tao Xibao. Visitors sense an aloof, serene and philosophical style in his photos of abandoned theaters and mysterious seas.
The Art Space studio of Liangjiang pays close attention to young and gifted artists. It tries to combine domestic and international exhibits to promote the development of contemporary arts.
