Adobe, the renowned American company specializing in programs of photo manipulation and page layout, has recently signed a cooperative agreement with Chongqing Internet Technology Co and its parent company, Shanghai Jiansheng Internet Technology Co.
It authorized the company to become the sole distributor of Adobe Flash Player in China.

The signing of the cooperative agreement took place in Chongqing Internet Technology, with the understanding that it would promote the development of digital industry in Liangjiang New Area.
According to the agreement, both parties will work closely together to ensure that all regional developers, companies, and consumers with operating systems that support Adobe Flash Player can automatically get the latest version. In addition, both parties will cooperate in various aspects including software development, business model reconstruction, and big data.
"We've always participated in the content building of Flash and we have a deep understanding of China's internet market and Flash-related market. The conditions are ripe for our cooperation," said Dan Yujun, CEO of Shanghai Jiansheng Internet Technology. Adobe's strength in technology would promote the development of the Chongqing company in aspects of its user community, technology, and popularity.
The digital economy is booming in Liangjiang New Area. The GDP of Digital Economy Industrial Park reached 25.2 billion yuan ($3.97 billion) in 2017, to which the digital economy industry contributed 11.5 billion yuan. It is estimated that by 2020, the GDP of Digital Economy Industrial Park could reach 50 billion yuan and that of digital economy industry could amount to 34 billion yuan.
"Chongqing Internet Technology is a software and big data company. We hope that ultimately, we could build ourselves into an internationally-renowned internet company through this cooperation," Dan Yujun said.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
