The center, co-founded by Italy's consulate general in Chongqing, the Liangjiang New Area administrative committee and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, expects to enhance bilateral cooperation on production capacity and boost investments in key industries, including automobile, environmental protection and machinery.
The Liangjiang New Area administrative committee and Italy's consulate general signed a cooperation agreement to build the Sino-Italy Industrial Park on Aug 3, 2017. Both sides will work together in areas such as manufacturing, urbanization, logistics and human resources.
The opening of the center will spur more exchanges and interactions between Italy and Liangjiang New Area.
