According to local resources, Lifan Group is going to exhibit the latest achievements in new energy vehicles at the Smart China Expo, which will be held on Aug 23 in Liangjiang New Area.
The exhibition will include intelligent production, intelligent new energy vehicles, and intelligent travel solutions.
Visitors will be acquainted with the production process of automobile manufacturing, and experience the intelligent cockpit.
In addition, Lifan will cooperate with Pandauto, an online car-sharing platform, to give visitors on opportunity to experience pilotless technology.
Pandauto will also announce the achievements of its pilot project for automatic driving, and the application of AI technology in intelligent transportation.
Lifan also started researching and developing intelligent vehicles three years ago, and is expanding into the service industry to provide convenient, efficient and intelligent travel solutions to clients by digging up travel data.

With companies involved in travel products, energy supply, after-sales service, and automobile finance, Lifan has been able to achieve its ultimate goal of intelligent vehicle production and intelligent travel services, said Ma Ke, president of Lifan Group.
Relying on the traditional automobile industry and electronic information industry, Liangjiang has become the third national demonstration area for intelligent internet vehicles.
China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Company will cooperate with Liangjiang to launch a series of intelligent vehicle projects. Meanwhile, whole-vehicle companies and operation platforms will promote the application of driverless vehicles.
The output value of new energy and intelligent vehicles in Liangjiang is estimated to reach 100 billion yuan ($14.5 billion) by 2020, while the total output value of automobiles will reach 350 billion yuan.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
