The Chongqing International Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference will be held at Yuelai International Convention Center in Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area from Nov 10 to 11.

The participants from Liangjiang New Area will total 218, about one third of the total number.

In addition to the traditional innovation and entrepreneurship contests, the two-day event will include keynote speeches, innovation exhibitions, match-making meetings and a forum on frontier technologies.

According the organizing committee, participants are coming from 15 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Austria and Germany.

Their research fields include electronic information, biological medicine, smart manufacturing and other key sectors related to Chongqing's current development strategy.

The international innovation conference has yielded satisfying results in Chongqing for three consecutive years, with official statistics showing that 1,211 overseas talents from 31 countries and regions showcased 639 projects during past conferences. Chongqing enterprises signed with 228 of them and incubated 260 innovative projects.
