The first Upper Yangtze River City Flower Expo, which lasted from Nov 7 to 12, embellished the mountainous city of Chongqing with a fusion of flowers and art.
Two-hundred exhibitors using 500 booths showcased their unique designs in the 20,000-square-meter exhibition area, all of which was open to the public, free of charge.

John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
