Jutubao.com, a Liangjiang-based company in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality and the Visa Center of the Republic of Kenya in Southwest China recently agreed to cooperate in developing the agricultural industries in China and Kenya.
By integrating the internet and agriculture, this cooperation is expected to improve communications between the two countries, help Kenya to connect with the global market and speed up the African country's agricultural industrialization.
Established in April 2015, Jutubao.com mainly engages in land development and management, including land circulation, land trust, land finance, etc.
"We are always closely following the latest developments in global agriculture and trying to enter the markets in areas such as the Far East, Africa and Southeast Asia. This cooperation between China and Kenya is a great opportunity to expand our business scope", said a worker at Jutubao.com.
This is not only a breakthrough for Jutubao.com in cross-border business cooperation, but also a quintessential example of Liangjiang's enthusiastic involvement in the Belt and Road initiative.
Taking advantage of its geographic and strategic position within the Belt and Road, Liangjiang has been developing high-end industries and industrial parks with countries like Spain, Germany and Italy in an effort to promote international cooperation and further open up to the outside world.
