The final of the 2018 China Car Performance Challenge (CCPC), also known as China's "Car Olympics" was wrapped up in Yakeshi city of Hulunbuir, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Dec 8.
Skillful drivers from Chang'an Automobile Company, based in Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area, won five all-round golden medals during the final.
The final of the CCPC this year featured three stops: the professional testing course in Dafeng, Jiangsu province; the highland course in Kunming, Yunnan province, and the ice course in Yakeshi.

Depending on precise control performance, low fuel consumption and powerful engines, Chang'an cars made waves in the first heat at Dafeng and got through the tough road conditions of the Kunming course.
Chang'an won one fifth of all awards in 2015, 17 awards in 2016 and 32 awards in 2017 at the CCPC. Behind these records stand Chang'an's quality products made in strict compliance with research and development standards.
Chang'an has established the first-ever test verification system involving 15 testing fields like environment, strength and safety. It consists of more than 4,500 detailed trials testing the vehicle, elements, matching, system and more.

To ensure that each model meets the driving needs of extreme road conditions, each series developed by Chang'an must experience over 4 million kilometers of examination in harsh environments.
Chang'an has invested 2 billion yuan ($289.5 million) in building the first professional comprehensive trial site in western China, the Chang'an Automobile Comprehensive Test Ground, which can support hundreds of test items.
Chang'an is the epitome of the flourishing automobile industry in Liangjiang New Area, whose output value is expected to hit 350 billion yuan by 2020.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
