The first direct flight between Chongqing and Paris recently left the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport in Liangjiang New Area. This new route marks the airport's 80th international route.
The flight is operated by Hainan Airlines and departs every Wednesday and Saturday at 1:30 am from the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and arrives at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris at 6:20 am local time. The flight time is approximately 12 hours.
The flight will then depart from the Charles de Gaulle Airport at 1 pm and arrive at the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 6:30 am local time every Wednesday and Saturday. The return flight takes 10.5 hours.
So far, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has 80 international flights, including 66 passenger flights and 14 cargo flights that fly to 60 cities in 25 countries.
Among the airport's 66 passenger routes, 22 are intercontinental, and 15 are direct flights.
This year, more than 40 million passengers passed through the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. In the future, the airport will add more international flights and improve its service quality.
In addition to increasing the frequency of flights to London, Rome, Los Angeles, Dubai, Tokyo and Singapore, the airport will also open new international flights to Barcelona, Budapest, St. Petersburg, Addis Ababa, Delhi, Jakarta, Manila and Vientiane.
