Dentsply Sirona, the world's largest manufacturer of professional dental solutions, recently reach an agreement with Meigeer Dental to build Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics (CEREC) training center in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing.

As a famous dental medical chain organization that originated in Germany, Meigeer opened its Chongqing branch in 2002 and has become an international dental medical service institution with advanced technical equipment in China.

The CEREC training center will allow experienced dentists master the digital dental medical technology with a seven day training course. It also offers outpatient medical services for patients.

The center will broadcast the surgery process to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical dental training.

Compared with traditional dental treatment that normally takes two months, CEREC takes only 30 minutes to repair teeth and reduce pain for patients.

According to data, about six to seven billion people in China suffer from dental diseases of varying degrees while the dental talent pool is very limited. The center aims to research and develop new technology for dental medicine, while establishing a training system to cultivate talent for the industry.

A high industry cluster has now formed in Liangjiang that covers an area of 200 hectares with over 90 companies involving high-end chemicals, biomedicine, modern Chinese medicine, medical equipment manufacturing, and healthcare services.
