Liangjiang New Area Government Affairs Center was designated as the "2019 National Outstanding Government Affairs Center in Management" at a seminar on business environment improvement, which was held in Shandong province on June 20.
The case that Liangjiang applied for the selection was its innovative mechanism that improves government services for start-up enterprises.
The center aims to create a convenient and better business environment by simplifying procedures, furthering the innovative mechanism, extending the service range, as well as strengthening supervision.
The time limit on examination and approval of enterprise registration has now been reduced from 15 working days to two.
By the end of June, the number of market subjects in Liangjiang had reached 80,587, with the registered capital amounting to 1.03 trillion yuan ($150.35 billion), a year-on-year increase of 25.51 percent and 9.48 percent respectively.
In the future, the center will learn from other outstanding cases to reduce the time limit of examination and approval, improve government services, as well as expand the free service.
