Chongqing Bachuan International School was established in August 2011 and is located in Bachuan town of Tongliang county in Chongqing. It covers an area of more than 80 acres with a total building area of more than 1000,000 square meters.
Chongqing Bachuan International School cooperates with the prestigious King's School in Washington D.C, and offers the same curriculum, teaching materials, and evaluation system. Students are registered in both the Chinese and American schools – and can receive US high school graduation certificates in addition to Chinese high school diplomas. Many of the school’s graduates apply for universities in English-speaking countries – including some of the world's top universities.
Chongqing Bachuan International School aims to give priority to the wellbeing and success of its students, in addition to educational cooperation and integration of Chinese and Western culture. It has representative offices in cities such as Beijing, Hong Kong, New York, Seattle, Paris and London, and is proud of its curriculum, teaching supervision, individualized services, and international connections – which can help students get ready for the real world and also realize their dreams of studying abroad.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
