The 2019 Upper Yangtze River City Flower Art Expo (UCFA) will be held in Liangjiang New Area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality from Nov 1 to 7.
The expo will cover an area of 100,000 square meters to show the harmonic co-existence of horticulture, city, nature, and humans.
Chongqing's 21 government departments at the municipal, district, and county levels will show urban landscape projections like waterfront gardens and footpaths that represent the beauty of the city.
This year's UCFA will emphasize attracting international resources and building cooperation between different cities. In addition to Chongqing's horticultural products, visitors can enjoy the flowers and bonsais from 10 provinces.
The first UCFA was held in Liangjiang last year and attracted 27 major projects worth 13.96 billion yuan ($1.98 billion) involving biotechnology, environmental protection, and smart manufacturing to Chongqing.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
