The PKU Chongqing Huiyong Collaborative Innovation R&D Center, co-built by Chongqing Huiyong Applied Technology Research Institute Co and Peking University, was unveiled in Liangjiang New Area on July 28.

The center will bring together PKU's first-class scientific research resources and Huiyong's research teams to solve common and key technical problems for companies, based on the needs of Chongqing's economic development.

Huiyong is a professional open platform integrating scientific R&D and innovative use of technologies, established by academicians at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and experts from home and abroad.

Through cooperation with PKU, Huiyong will give full play to its advantages in the market, launch more commercial scientific research projects, and form a high-tech industrial cluster.

In the future, the center will attract more scientists and research teams to Liangjiang, accelerate the marketization of scientific achievements, and turn the scientific research advantages of universities into companies' innovation advantages and also into Chongqing's competitive advantages.
