Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality signed an agreement with the National Eastern Tech-Transfer Center on Dec 17 to establish a collaborative innovation center.
The National Eastern Tech-Transfer Center, co-established by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shanghai government, strives to provide technology trading, fintech and industry incubation services.
According to the agreement, the innovation center will rely on Liangjiang's innovation resources to provide information sharing, technology trading, technological innovation, technology transfer, fintech, technology transfer agent cultivation and intellectual property services.
The innovation center will develop supporting policies based on the technology transfer and the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements in Shanghai and Chongqing.
By organizing competitions, forms and summits, the innovation center will enhance the technological cooperation between Shanghai and Chongqing and issue coupons for small and medium-sized companies to encourage them to purchase technological resources and innovation services.
The innovation center will also build personnel training facilities to cultivate technological talents, attract high-end talents and innovate talent management.
The establishment of the innovation center will further complete Liangjiang's technological innovation ecosystem, accelerate the area's industrial transformation and upgrading and contribute to the construction of a scientific and technological innovation center with national influence in the Chengdu-Chongqing regional economic circle.
