The Chongqing Garden Expo in Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality will open to the public for free on Oct 1.

The Chongqing Garden Expo is expected to receive a large number of visitors during the National Day Holiday from Oct 1 to 7. Visitors are encouraged to avoid peak hours and take public transportation to the garden during the holiday.

The garden will open every day from 9 am to 5 pm. Visitors must make reservations with their real names through the official WeChat account of the Chongqing Garden Expo and enter the garden using reservation QR codes, ID cards, and health QR codes.

After the reservation system is launched in the afternoon of Sept 30, visitors will be able to book tickets three days in advance.

At the beginning of this year, Liangjiang launched an afforestation activity to dismantle 56.3 kilometers of old fences and walls and add 370,000 square meters of green area.

The Chongqing Garden Expo also took part in the activity and dismantled surrounding walls to allow more people to admire its natural scenery.
