The Software Defined Vehicles Forum (SDVF) 2021 was held on Oct 29 in Liangjiang New Area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality.
Organized by Liangjiang's administrative committee, the forum centered on intelligent software, intelligent connected vehicles, and the intelligent vehicle infrastructure cooperative system. Representatives from Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Development & Investment Group Co and leading companies in the field from other parts of China were invited to participate in the event.
Luo Lin, director of Liangjiang's administrative committee, addressed the forum, highlighting software algorithms, chips and the Chongqing (Liangjiang) National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Demonstration Zone as laying a solid foundation for the further integration of the digital economy with the auto sector. On behalf of the new area, he expressed the hope that guests take the forum as an opportunity to share forward-looking insights, successful cases, and the latest technological achievements in the field.
Luo also encouraged more entrepreneurs to invest in projects in Liangjiang. The government will spare no effort to build a more preferential business environment and offer more efficient and convenient services to enterprises.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
